The 1200 x 800 mm plastic pallets, also known as the standard Euro pallet format, are the most commonly used pallets on the European continent. They are ideal for efficient transport and storage and are widely applicable across various sectors. Q-Pall offers these pallets in three variants: light, medium, and heavy, each designed for specific applications.
The Euro pallet format is perfectly tailored to European logistics, offering compatibility with trucks, containers, and warehouse racks. Across Europe, there are more than 450 million Euro pallets in circulation, according to EPAL, highlighting the importance of this standardization.
The dimensions of 1200 x 800 mm are ideally suited to the sizes of European trucks, containers, and warehouse racks, contributing to streamlined logistics. Thanks to this standardization, companies across Europe can easily exchange pallets, transport goods efficiently, and optimize storage space.
Q-Pall’s plastic Euro pallets combine the benefits of this size with the durability and reusability of recycled plastic, available in three variants:
The Light plastic pallets 1200 x 800 mm are specifically developed for applications requiring low self-weight and easy handling. These pallets are nestable, meaning they can be stacked inside one another when empty, resulting in significant space savings.
The Medium plastic pallets 1200 x 800 mm offer the perfect balance between weight, load capacity, and price. This variant is suitable for a wide range of applications, including light racking and medium-weight loads.
The Heavy plastic pallets 1200 x 800 mm are designed for heavy industrial applications and fully suitable for use in pallet racks. These pallets are extremely robust and built to handle high loads, both static and dynamic.
The versatility of Q-Pall plastic pallets makes them ideal for various sectors, including:
Q-Pall’s plastic Euro pallets combine standardization, safety, and sustainability in one product. Whether you choose the Light, Medium, or Heavy variant, you will benefit from:

Racking Load (internationally known as Racking Load) is the maximum weight a pallet can bear when placed in a pallet racking system without decking or mesh shelves.
With this load, the pallet rests solely on the two beams of the rack (beam racking). The pallet effectively “hangs” freely in the center. This demands the utmost from the structural rigidity. Exceeding this weight leads to dangerous deflection or breakage.
The specifications we state are based on a Uniformly Distributed Load (UDL).
During our tests, we load the pallet with 25 kg bags spread over the entire surface. This simulates a realistic practical situation.
Note: In the case of point loading (a heavy weight concentrated in one spot), the load capacity may be lower than the specified racking load; this must be tested in practice.

The carbon footprint of a plastic pallet expresses the total environmental impact in kilograms of CO2 equivalent (kg CO2 eq.). To make this impact transparent for you, official Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) documents are available for all Q-Pall pallets.
Greenhouse gas emissions occur at various stages of the life cycle. The greatest impact usually arises during:
We minimize these emissions at every step of the process. By making intensive use of recycled plastics and organizing the ‘end-of-life’ process (full recycling of old pallets), we significantly lower the ecological footprint compared to wooden alternatives or virgin plastic.
