The plastic pallets of 1200 x 1000 mm, also known as industrial pallets or block pallets, are among the most commonly used pallet formats in European and international logistics. Thanks to their robust construction and larger dimensions, they are perfectly suited for transporting and storing medium to heavy loads across various sectors.
The 1200 x 1000 mm plastic pallets from Q-Pall are available in three variants: Light, Medium, and Heavy, each tailored to specific applications and load capacities. Made from recycled plastic, these pallets are fully recyclable and offer a sustainable alternative to traditional wooden pallets.
The 1200 x 1000 mm industrial pallet is one of the most commonly used pallet sizes, particularly in the UK and in industries handling heavier loads. This size offers:
Q-Pall’s industrial pallets are fully optimized for modern logistics systems, including automated warehouse racks and transport systems.
The Light plastic pallets 1200 x 1000 mm are designed for situations where low weight and space-saving are essential. These pallets are nestable, meaning they can be easily stacked inside each other when empty.
Features:
Applications:
The Medium plastic pallets 1200 x 1000 mm offer the perfect balance between strength, weight, and cost. This variant is suitable for a wide range of applications, including light racking use.
Features:
Applications:
The Heavy plastic pallets 1200 x 1000 mm are designed for intensive applications and heavier loads. These pallets are fully suitable for use in warehouse racking and extended reuse cycles.
Features:
Applications:
The Light variants of Q-Pall’s 1200 x 1000 mm plastic pallets feature a nestable design, allowing empty pallets to be easily nested together, resulting in significant space and cost savings.
Benefits of the nestable design:
Q-Pall’s plastic pallets are made from recycled plastic and are fully recyclable, making them an environmentally friendly choice. Unlike wooden pallets, which can splinter or absorb moisture, plastic pallets offer significant advantages:
Q-Pall’s plastic industrial pallets offer numerous advantages over traditional wooden pallets:
The versatility of the 1200 x 1000 mm plastic pallets makes them suitable for various industries:
Q-Pall’s industrial plastic pallets are the ideal choice for companies seeking a sustainable, efficient, and safe pallet solution. With options in Light, Medium, and Heavy variants, Q-Pall offers the right pallet for every application.

Racking Load (internationally known as Racking Load) is the maximum weight a pallet can bear when placed in a pallet racking system without decking or mesh shelves.
With this load, the pallet rests solely on the two beams of the rack (beam racking). The pallet effectively “hangs” freely in the center. This demands the utmost from the structural rigidity. Exceeding this weight leads to dangerous deflection or breakage.
The specifications we state are based on a Uniformly Distributed Load (UDL).
During our tests, we load the pallet with 25 kg bags spread over the entire surface. This simulates a realistic practical situation.
Note: In the case of point loading (a heavy weight concentrated in one spot), the load capacity may be lower than the specified racking load; this must be tested in practice.

The carbon footprint of a plastic pallet expresses the total environmental impact in kilograms of CO2 equivalent (kg CO2 eq.). To make this impact transparent for you, official Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) documents are available for all Q-Pall pallets.
Greenhouse gas emissions occur at various stages of the life cycle. The greatest impact usually arises during:
We minimize these emissions at every step of the process. By making intensive use of recycled plastics and organizing the ‘end-of-life’ process (full recycling of old pallets), we significantly lower the ecological footprint compared to wooden alternatives or virgin plastic.
